Welcome to Our Neighborhood Gardens! We are glad you made it!

Our Neighborhood Gardens is a program designed by like-minded individuals from different backgrounds who desire to see a real need met for real people in real places.

This real need is lack of fresh produce and food access for real people living in real places like urban food deserts.

When our team put our heads together to try and come up with a creative, community-involved idea to help this issue, we came up with Our Neighborhood Gardens.

This program centers around food desert neighborhoods, facilitating individual gardens which are then put together to form a community of gardens! Our hope is that ONG will allow neighbors not only to grow fresh produce that they can later swap, but also get to know one another!

ONG facilitates gardens and produce-swaps according to neighborhood need and our seasonal calendars. Watch our Community Conversations page for upcoming events!
